You must bring current vaccination certificates for ALL cats staying with us. The certificate must stay with the cat(s) for the duration of their stay.
The current minimum requirements are:
Feline infectious enteritis (a severe and often fatal gut infection) is caused by the feline parvovirus (or feline panleukopenia virus). Vaccination against FIE has been very successful. Unvaccinated cats are at great risk because the virus is widespread in the environment.
Two types of cat 'flu are vaccinated against feline herpesvirus (FHV-1) and feline calicivirus (FCV) These viruses are very common and vaccination will protect your cat against a prolonged illness, but because there are so many different strains of cat 'flu the vaccine cannot totally eradicate the threat.
We also recommend that if your cat goes outside that it has a vaccination against Feline leukemia virus (FeLV) is a viral disease that can in some cases be lethal.
If you have any concerns about the above then please speak to your vet. They can advise about these and other forms of vaccinations prior to your booking. We do try and give the best advice but we are not vets or trained in this field and any advice given is purely our opinion.
ALWAYS CONSULT A VET.
If a cat is found to have fleas whilst here we will give the cat a course of flea treatment which will be charged for.
If your cat requires any medication please ensure you bring enough of the medication to last for the duration of the stay and a little extra just in case of unforeseen circumstances. Only medicines which can be given orally will be administered by our staff.
You are more than welcome to leave here for their return journey.
We currently do not charge a cancellation fee but we reserve the right to charge a fee if a booking is cancelled within 7 days of the start of the booking.
